This simple, accurate thermostat provides a special "garage" application mode with setpoint range of 35 F to 90 F
The Basic PRO non-programmable digital thermostat provides electronic control of 24 Vac conventional and heat pump systems or 750 mV heating systems.

I manage a lodge in Colorado with 10 bedrooms and 10 baths. We have 3 furnaces and heat control is very critical. When vacant for long periods of time, we winterize but still don't want the temperature to get below freezing. I've tried other thermostats that claimed a low range of 35 degrees. These are the first thermostats that actually go down to 35 degrees and hold very well. The propane savings are really great! Thanks for selling exactly what you advertise.

Previous stat only dropped down to 50*, plenty warm for an attached garage, so I only ran the heat when it wouldn't stay above freezing inside. Now I keep it at 38* and run the heat all the time, affordably.
Our cars seem to like it as well!

I needed a thermostat to go under 50 degrees. This has a 35 setting. It is only for one purpose. Not a dual purpose. I use it for a ceiling mounted heater for my shop and keep it 35 in the winter so my paint and other products don't freeze.It also has an off setting if you don't want any heat to come on. Easy to install. Was well pleased.

Much better than the old slide type thermostat I had which had a lower limit of fifty degrees and could not be seen except right up close.
I use it because I am gone a lot.
I was told the energy savings is considerable between setting the bottom range of the old thermostat at fifty degrees versus setting this new digital at forty degrees.

I just installed a overhead propane garage heater in my garage. Most of the thermostats that one can find in the stores or online are set at 55 degrees to 90 degress and I wanted one that went down to 40 degress. The Honeywell Basic Pro 1000 thermostats hit my needs & wants right on the nail. Easy to install and super easy to operate. Great little unit!!!!
