Perfect replacement part for my whole house Emerson Media Air cleaner. Improved the Merv value (from 8 to 13) and the price delivered to my door was actually LESS than what it would cost at the local retailer IF they even had the correct size (which they did not). Not all 16x25x4 are the same.

Custom built a return air filter box out of galvanized sheet metal that will accept exactly this size filter. HVAC contractors wanted me to purchase "their" filter box and replacement filters. Twenty dollars worth the sheet metal and a Saturday made my own.

The filters seem to be just fine, and at an amazing price compared with the cost when purchasing through a hvac company. But, I didn't read the fine print and this particular filter isn't made for Honeywell (doh !). It's a little too small for the filter housing. Just read the product info more carefully than I did.
