This unique, and straight-forward thermostat allows for lower setpoints than most off-the-shelf thermostats. It can be used for heating only or cooling (selectable in setup menu) and offers low level setpoints down to 25 degrees. If you are a property manager - this thermostat can save you money! High and low setpoints can be locked down to prevent occupants from turning up heat (or turning down cooling) to unreasonable levels.

Installed in my 24 X 26 insulated detached garage for heat only controlling a MODINE Hot Dawg 45,000 BTU Natural Gas furnace. Very reliable! I have this hardwired powered with the battery back-up also. This saves money by not having to keep temperature at 40F (the lowest temp all other thermostats can do and most will 'blank out' at 32F). The only thermostat I've seen that will control from 25F to 90F and operate reliable at below freezing.

Just what I wanted for my garage. It keeps my garage from freezing and does not overheat it. I wanted to keep the garage at 35 to 40 degrees. Other thermostats would only go down to 50 degrees and it would cost more to maintain it that warm when not in use.
