Looking for a highly efficient box filter for your Aprilaire/Space-Gard air cleaner? These filters offer superior filtration - and no messy assembly is required! Designed not only to reduce dust, but has the ability to capture most common allergens. This is achieved by combining 100% synthetic electrostatically charged media, optimum pleat spacing and high quality construction. These deep-pleated filters have exceptionally high initial and sustained efficiency, high dust holding capacity, and very low pressure drop. The media is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, does not absorb moisture and will not support microbial growth.
These pleated filters are made to be installed in the Aprilaire/Space-Gard 2400 Air Cleaner. They are fully expanded - and no assembly or pleat spacers are required. Simply place the filter in the plastic inner housing and slide it in!

I replaced the collapseable filters with spacers for the expanded replacement with a cardboard frame. IAQ provides instructions for replacing the old style filters with this replacement. They are a perfect fit, and are easy to replace. Plus, when it comes time to replace these filters, it's a simple remove and replace, no stirring up captured dust.

I wish I knew whether these air filters were better than the "thin" ones I used to install. But, the Aprilaire filter was installed when we bought a new Trane furnace and heat pump. Its filters are more expensive than the "thin" style, but the price here is the best I could find. Very easy to install.
