The fan was an exact replacement and the price was less than the factory. [...] For your info, the factory was recommending purchase from [...] at a higher price. Also good idea to do a 3 week follow up. As a result, I just purchased furnace filters. Saved me to look around for a supplier. Nice job, and I have you bookmarked for future needs. Thanks, Al CarrinoPureAire Monitoring Systems, Inc.[@]

Comments about RadonAway Model XP201 4" Radon Fan:
I replaced model 23011-2 with this one (23011-1); They appear identical. Installation was very simple and took less than 30 minutes. The most complicated part was breaking the seal on the cheap plastic housing which contained the fan. I simply had to reseal the housing unit with silicon caulk. Saved hundreds doing it myself instead of calling a radon contractor.

Comments about RadonAway Model XP201 4" Radon Fan:
I purchased this fan to replace an identical model which had completely failed 6 years after it was professionally installed.
I suspect failure may have been caused by the lack of a condensate bypass in our system.
The hardest part of the installation was the removal of the existing non-metallic conduit fitting from the (deep) wiring cavity. The external nut had seized up considerably and I ended up breaking away the (plastic) wiring cavity with a pair of channel lock pliers to extract the fitting.
The rest of the installation was smooth sailing since the new fan was identical in all respects and all other parts were reusable.

Comments about RadonAway Model XP201 4" Radon Fan:
I just replaced my existing XP201 that started to work only sporadically after 7-years. My outside installation took less than 30-minutes. I was able to use all of my existing mounting brackets and rubber to pvc reducers and band clamps. All that I needed was a philips and blade screw driver and an adjustable crescent wrench. [...] I will gladly buy from iaqsource.com again.
