Comments about RadonAway Model RP145 4" Radon Fan:
This is a great product clearly designed for its intended use in radon mitigation. I installed it in a passive system that was already in place and found it to be quiet and effective. The pro that checked the system out subsequently said this product was in use in over half the homes he inspects.

Comments about RadonAway Model RP145 4" Radon Fan:
Installed 2 weeks ago, so no long term reliability to report as of yet. Quiet, seems to have good suction/flow based on the vaccuum gauge on the input side. Hoping it gives 12 years of service just like the fan it replaced.

Comments about RadonAway Model RP145 4" Radon Fan:
Installed fan at mountain cabin at elevation 2200 feet and conditions can be extreme at times.Fan has been running 24/7 for well over a year and has reduced radon levels to almost zero.Fan runs extremely quiet and you need to be almost next to it to hear it.This review was generated by my buying a second fan to have on hand as a spare. If fan keeps on preforming at its present rate that may have been an unnecessary purchase.

Comments about RadonAway Model RP145 4" Radon Fan:
Bought this to replace an existing fan that had started to sound like a diesel truck. The hardest part of the swap was getting the old fan out. This one went in easy, drew a vacuum as soon as I flipped the breaker on and you have to be right next to it to hear it at all. My wife thought I was a handyman genius for about half an hour until she found something else around the house to complain about.

Comments about RadonAway Model RP145 4" Radon Fan:
The RP 145-4 inch fan has many applications. Initially used for RADON mitigation (to rid your living environment of naturally occuring radon gas) can also be used to move air from behind knee walls to the outside of your home. If your home is built over a substrate of limestone, chances are that your home will test POSITIVE for RADON gas.OHIO is prone to testing positive for radon. Radon can cause health problems over time. The usage of this fan to dissipate radon or help move air in various places in the home is beneficial to the occupants in your home. Great product! WORTH the price. On a one to ten scale...it's a 15!!

Comments about RadonAway Model RP145 4" Radon Fan:
Our old unit started making noise after 5 years running without a problem. I think it would continue to run but I did not want to hear the fan so I replaced it. Very easy to replace, Thank you!
