This solved the problem that I wanted to move the thermostat but could not because of attic access issues.
Since our bedroom has a lot of windows and 3 exterior walls, it's temperature is not predictable based on the temperature in the middle of the house.
When we go to bed now, I put this thermostat on my nightstand. The thermostat is made to be hung on the wall, but I've just carried the thermostat with me due to poor reviews on the wireless remote that Honeywell does make.

For the price, I think it should have some more features: adjustable variance, 7 day programming, fan program, etc. But, it does the job.

Needed to replace the house thermostat that was near the garage door, the temperature in the house was never right because of that. Installed this product (note: you need access to AC 24V so my best option was next to the furnace in the garage). My system is heat only, just 2 wires, so installation was a snap. Worked perfectly right away.

I had never installed a thermostat before but it only took me about 10 minutes to upgrade from the old wired thermostat here.

It is nice that it has cycle settings for all the major types of heating systems, including steam gravity which is what we have.

The wireless function is robust and powerful, easily penetrates 3 floors of this large 4-story townhouse.

Very intuitive. Gives temperature reading in several parts of the home and outside. We have had Honeywell products before. This is the BEST thermostat system available today.

I like the wireless aspect. No wires to run. It has a strong signal throughout the house. The main unit is mounted in a basement next to the furnace.
I don't like the outside temp display not being on all the time, you have to call it up.

This unit appears to be well made. The remote interface device that connects to your furnace seems very large, but at the same time, it does allow for larger connectors for your wires. The unit has a million parameters you can tweek including hysteresis, and on and off times. The only parameter I changed was the "Recovery" feature. The unit attempts to turn your furnace on earlier than the program time such that by the program time your house will be at the right temp. Interesting feature, but one I just could not wrap my mind around!
The only negative I had was the lack of a logic internal wiring diagram of the unit. I needed to understand what relays were inside and how they were controlled. This was not in the manual, but a call to the service center solved the issue.
Just as a work of caution, if you plan to just remove your current thermostat and replace it with this one, you need to rethink your strategy. The sending unit is way to large to want to stick on the wall where your old thermostat was. You will want to follow those wires back to the furnace and install the base unit there. The new thermostat you can now place wherever you want.

The wireless option saved us. The previous location of our wired thermostat was not working out & with no way to run wires where it needed to go, the wireless kit was a God send. Having said that, the only thing I would change is to make a touch screen version like the wired Honeywell ones. Seeing what your programming is and editing options is much easier with a larger, touch screen display that shows more content at a time.

I was looking for a way to move the location of our thermostat. It was located in our dining room/kitchen and every time we prepared meals the system would run like crazy. I HAD to do something and the thought of running wires around the house disturbed me. Fortunately while doing a Google search I discovered the good folks on this web site.

This is an amazing wireless thermostat. I am retired and never had any knowledge about these things. I didn't even know what HVAC was and didn't have a clue whether our system was a 1H/1C or 2H/1C or what. I was totally new to the terminology. With just a little bit of research, an answered question from the Pro Thermostat folks a friend and I installed it and it works wonderfully. The key is to simply match the wiring on your old one. Take close up photos of the wiring on your old one before you remove the wires and then connect it the same way on the receiver/transmitter box (EIM). The manual is very helpful.

My friend was so impressed by this system he bought one for his home and it took him only 20 minutes to install it.

We now have even cooling throughout the house and the system doesn't run nearly as much. This thermostat will pay for itself in less than a year without a doubt.

After I understood the installation instructions, i am very pleased with this wireless thermostat. It saved much labor required of a wired device. As a handyman I had some difficulty in interpreting type of installation but with help of the Prothermostat technician, all ended well.
