The device is simple to install and works like a charm. It might be the first time in my life I connected and programmed something (especially a wireless device) where the installation went perfectly in accordance with the instructions. The complete installation took about an hour and a half. Deciding on the programmable settings for the controller does take some HVAC knowledge so I wouldn't recommend this to someone who doesn't have a clue unless they can get the necessary information from the company that services their AC system. Programming the setbacks on the thermostat was child's play! The only issue is that when placed side by side, the thermostat and the remote thermostat display a two degree difference.

What a product! Here in Houston,Tx 2 months no rain. 4 weeks of heat index > 100 degrees. I leave the thermostat in a bedroom shut the doors and the unit will cycle on schedule. No running all the time. I can at least slow down my money stream to the electric company. The wireless unit was easy to install and brainless to setup. Took longer to pickup 5-wire from hardware store than to install.

Very easy to install. One thing to keep in mind though, when wiring up the wireless control unit to the air handler, you MUST wire up a ground line. It's nice to be able to set the temp. in whichever room the remote is in and have it maintain that temp. Before I had to set the temp. at the downstairs thermostat to 66 or 67 degrees to keep the upstairs part of the house comfortable in the summer. Now I just set the remote to where I want the temp., leave it in the room, and it does it's thing. No complaints at all.
