Very easy to install/ replace. I also bought the black plastic hoo-loo (frame) that holds the water panel. That piece also has the water bobbins and it is a tad sturdier. I have not connected the new little hose. I ain't a plumber so I won't be installing the new hose. I will have a technician over sooner or later and will ask them to do it. It will get done correctly with no mistakes. I can't see close up no more and my hands/ fingers feel like clubs.

My old model 400 is running better than ever. thanks!

As soon as I turn on the heat, I activate my Aprilaire. Although in earlier years I would ask my furnace repair service to do the annual maintenance, in the interest of my budget, I decided to do this myself. I'm happy to report that even an aging non-mechanical female retiree can do this job. It was so easy and took no time at all. Instructions were easy to follow and the task required no unusual physical strength.

Was easy to replace all the parts that were bad with the replacements. Beginning to end job only lasted twenty minutes. Humidifier is working great now, would have fixed it earlier if i knew it was that easy.

humidifier was not working very well after 1 season. had replaced media but not water distribution pan and some of the other parts. Bought this kit and installed it... very easy to do... humidity increased to 48% in just 2 days. My HVAC installer said he would need to do this every year--- save the money, do it yourself. Pricing for the kit, with 2 media pads a great deal even without the extra "rebuild" parts.
