Installed under my bay window and used left over wire from my garage door sensors to reach my Braeburn 5400 T-stat. Comes with bracket and only about 10ft of wire. Works great at controlling the humidifier to prevent condensation on windows in the winter. Now I do not have to go down into the cellar and adjust humidifier so my windows do not condensate!

Easy to install. Was fortunate to use 2 extra wires in original cable from HVAC unit to 5400 Controller for the 5490. Would like for the outdoor temp to alternately display on 5400 with the indoor temp, as with my old unit at my old house. Have to hold down 2 adjacent btns to view outdoor temp - kind of awkward.
