My house is well insulated but I had a problem with hotspots/coldspots in my house due to the heat/AC not needing to running that often. I wanted a way to run the fan occasionally... the recirculation feature on this thermostat gives me that. I'm happy so far.
Only minor complaint is that I would prefer that I could adjust the times that the fan cycles on/off when using the recirc feature.

This is a great thermostat. It is easy to program or change programming on an entire week in minutes. Installation instructions well thought out, very intuitive. Has an easy to set/unset HOLD function. Several installation functions are on dip switches... easy to do and clearly explained. This was the only Tstat I found under $120 with a 35% random fan circulation mode which is very helpful in "shoulder" fall and spring to move the air comfortably. Also, the temperature drop differential before the Tstat calls for heat/cool can be varied from .5 deg to 2 degrees. The factory .5 degree holds it close, though maybe not as close as the Honeywell it replaced.

Needed to replace a non-programmable with a programmable thermostat. This item did the trick. Turns out that finding Braeburn thermostats is not that easy at the standard stores ([...]). Prothermostats.com had the item, [...] Very happy....

Thermostat is easy to install and fits existing screw holes from previous thermostat. I selected it for the recirculating fan cycle which works fine. The characters on the display during programming were not always easily interpreted, e.g. "LG" looks like "L6" and I still don't know what "OC" means, although the manual has an adequate explanation ofwhat it refers to. The normal display is clear.

Lowest cost unit with recirc capability and it works.I've installed one on the main floor of a large house and in an ocean front condo with severe variation in load on either end of the unit.Recirc feature balances load and evens temperature without running fan continuously.

I bought this thermastat to replace the Braeburn 3000. It was about a 15 minute install since I did not have to change the backing plate. I like the recirculate function because I don't have a variable speed air handler.

I bought this thermostat because it had a recirculate feature that I couldn't find on any other brand. This feature turns on the furnace fan at regular intervals (without heat or AC) to recirculate the air in your home. If you have a two story home, it helps to equalize the temperature. If you have a basement rec room, it keeps it from getting musty. After moving to a new home, it became too annoying not to have this feature and I was surprised that Braeburn was the only thermostat that had it.

We've always had moisture problems in our basement. This thermostat keeps the air moving and that greatly helps with that issue. I wish I had discovered this years ago. Easy to install/program. Haven't discovered any problems after a couple of weeks usage.
