I modified the dehumidistat by adding a relay and a switch so that it could be used as either a dehumidistat or a humidistat. It has a nice large dial that makes it easy to set for the desired humidity level.

The LG electronic dehumidistat controls are terrible to say the least, unit almost runs forever and never shuts off. My garage turned into Nevada type weather regardless of the % setting on the 65 pint LG dehumidifier (current model). The DH-10 solved this problem, works very well, and pretty accurate. Although, slightly expensive and they could have taken the time to put the sticker on correctly. I really wouldn't care but my unit is installed in the garage in plain sight not hidden in a crawl space or attic where no one would care because it wouldn't be seen.

We use the product to control a very large dehumidifier (using relay sets). It performs very well. It is reasonably accurate with the dial setting. The relative humidity swing is about 2 to 3 degrees between switching. It was very easy to install and is highly recommended.

We have a copper shop with an 8" through the wall vent fan to help control humidity, to keep the copper in good condition. The Tjernlund Dehumidistat has made the process totaly automatic no more switching on and off. It is supprisingly acurate for an analog controle it holds about a 2% range. The control was very easy to mount and wire since it comes in it's own electrical box.
