We really like these popup filters. They cost a bit more but are much faster to install than the old style ones with the plastic combs. They are also easy to store and have a better MERV rating than the old style filters. The time savings alone makes these worthwhile for me. I get them for my home as well as for other family members.

Just remodeled an older home, and discovered that these air filters would be needed. Never had a system like this before, but it seems to do a good job with the new filter installed. Was easy to install, although is a little less deep than the old one was.
