First i never write reviews, i figure i pay money for something it should work and i move on to the next job. However i had to stop and comment how amazing this thing is!! we converted a 1500 sq ft basement at our facility into a animator workspace computers and all. We were getting humidity readings of 70% to 75% and our IT person was not happy at all. We finished the renovation put this unit in on a friday night and by monday morn the readings were 25% to 30%. Now i have it on a timer to go on for 4 hours in the early morn and 4 hours late afternoon and readings stay in that same range. Noise is no louder then the CPU's we have down there, I've gotten no complaints. Buy this it will fix any dampness problems you have!

The Triton has reduced the humidity level in my 1,000 sq.ft. basement to a constant 43-48% from a mold growing 65%. It operates quietly, is very effective, and I was able to uncrate it and roll it down the stairs using the large handle. I could not be more pleased after dealing with other off the shelf models that do not last long. This unit is of high quality, works extremely well and has a high cfm fan that works so well you can feel it pulling the air to the unit from 15 ft away. I highly recommend this product. It runs 24/7.

The unit arrived quickly and in good condition. It was easy to setup and has been operating as expected with no issues. Our basement was getting quite damp which is normal in the summer months in Michigan, and the Triton has done a very effective job at removing the humidity and dampness. The internal pump does a great job of pumping the water removed from the air into our basement sump-pump to be removed. We are very satisfied so far with this unit.

After having 2 Sears 70-quart dehumidifiers give out on me, I spent the money for a professional level unit. The Ebac Triton is one of those rare products where the actual experience of owning it exceeds both my expectations and the product marketing hype.
I have a sump-pump in my basement that sometimes gets overwhelmed by the shear amount of water that occurs during the rainy season. The Triton not only keeps the humidity under control, but has its own pump mode to help remove water if my sump-pump is overwhelmed, or fails completely.
I am very impressed with this product - the construction quality, the heavy-duty nature of its design and operation, the feature-set (including a mode that defrosts the compressor if it freezes up), the retractable handle and hefty wheels - this is a great, all-around move-it/use-it-anywhere dehumidifier, and I recommend it without hesitation.
