Comments about Fantech DBLT4W Dryer Lint Trap:

Solid construction - good quality. It won't quite fit inside a 2x4 wall (the vent pipe will sit out too far) but would be excellent for vents outside the wall, open walls (no sheet rock installed) or thicker walls (2x6), etc. Note there is a top and bottom (the inlet/outlets are different sizes).

What can I say, it's a filter that I installed to protect a new booster blower from excess lint installed at the same time.

I installed this lint trap coming out of dryer. I also am using the Fantech dryer booster. It does a great job of collecting the lint that the dryer lets get through.

This lint trap catches a lot that the primary lint trap in the dryer misses. The door is somewhat clumsy, but works. I would have preferred a hinged design for the door. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the product.
