This was a direct replacement of what I had. It did make noise, so I then removed the lower bracked holding the duct to the house so the noise is no longer heard inside. Must have been a vibration. Good price, and it does what it should

Used this fan to replace older worn out fan ; to eliminate RADON GAS from my house. I have a 4" pipe from under the basement slab to the fan in the attic gas is expelled thru 4" pipe thru the roof. My old fan lasted 13 years I have no doubt this one will last as long.

I looked at all of the specifications for Radon fans before purchasing this unit. I specifically looked at the CFM @ 1" WC, since this is the pressure that my sub slab ventilation system produces. This fan has the highest flow at this (real usable) pressure. Fan installed without a hitch. Note: for 3 wire 120VAC installs, the ground wire is not connected.
