Versatility and Value Fantech's versatile FR Series fans feature a plastic housing constructed of UL-recognized, UV-protected thermoplastic resin. This tough protective shell allows the fan to be mounted in outdoor and wet locations.* Ideal for multiple point exhaust, dual bathroom exhaust, or new room additions, Fantech's FR Series fans are caulked at the motor screws, the wiring cables and along the seams of the fan to prevent moisture from entering the housing. Fantech's FR Series fans have long been the choice of residential builders and remodelers but now can be used for commercial projects with our recent UL commercial applications rating.
Typical attic installation.
* The FR Series is not manufactured to operate with water running through the motor compartment, or to be used in applications where the fan would be buried underground. A UL-recognized waterproof conduit should be used for all outdoor applications to prevent moisture entry via knockout in wiring box.

i used this in my main bathroom that HAD a real steam problem when showering.the extra cost, but ease of installation was well worth it!ceiling fans are just a waste of money most of the time,as they just can't perform.

Installed it in a new home--the bathroom fan for two bathrooms. Installs easily. I have not moved in yet but have run power to the fan. It runs queitly and since it is installed in the attic once insulation is in I should not be able to hear it at all. Very easy to install--neat unit.

My husband picked it out because it was powerful. My contractors were impressed with its design and ease of installation. I like it because it's QUIET, and really clears the moisture out of the bathroom fast. You could easily hook two rooms up to this baby and be very happy with it's ability.

Installed to evacuate stale air from basement. Got rid of that musty smell. Fan is not noisy, but in a basement, don't need to be concerned.

I bought this fan to replace one that finally burnt out after 15+ years. I figured i would go with the same brand for that reason.

It was easy to install with existing PVC (4 inch). I just hope it lasts as long as the original (13 years). It is a little loud.
