The filters are not reusable, I wish they would last longer and not be so expensive-but they work.I cannot change them as often as I should due to the expense. If you don't already have the Perfect Fit system, I can't say that it would be worth adding. To get some value you have to leave these things in a long time which decreases airflow and efficiency. And, there are other filters with better MERV ratings if you have allergies. Its best use is for someone who can't remember to change the filter every month.
