Our Carrier heat pump uses this odd sized filter for our air handler. The original Carrier filter is a metal framed hogshair which probably doesn't capture much except rocks and a few dog hairs.
Although DiscountFilters offers a higher MERV filter in this size, I picked the smaller MERV because of concerns about static pressure.
This filter fits perfectly.
My only wish is that the frame was sturdier because our Carrier filter opening has a metal clip on the back side which is used as a spring to keep the filter tight in the frame. The spring bends this filter some.
Actually my real wish is that a better filter setup came with our Carrier.

Overall, a great value and good improvement over the original. It's a nice option to be able to find great fitting throwaways in this odd size.

Quality is a match to what the heat pump / air conditioner manufacturer insists I should use (at 1/3 Their price).

The filter fit our wood furnace perfectly. It seems to clean better than the reusable one that I have been using.

Great resource for hard to find size. Much better solution than one size fits all cut it to size options.

Not sure why some complain about the fit. This fit my Carrier perfectly. Air quality improved over the "horse hair" original and cleanable filter.

Let's just say the filter is a tight fit in my Bryant unit. The dimensions of the stock filter were closer to 19 5/8 x 21 1/4 x 1 but this filter was the closest I could find to the stock filter size. The extra 1/8" to 1/4" made the filter a tight fit and I really had to push to get the cover back on the filter slot. It maybe difficult to remove in three months but I'll worry about it then.

Otherwise the filter was what I needed, a good price and was delivered quickly. Overall I am happy but gave 4 stars because of the tight fit.
