Overall, the stat is nice and easy to install but I had tougher time to set-up initially since the unit was operated at cooling mode but producing hot air at the registers instead. After a couple days playing around with the stat, I figured out that I have to go to the advance set up to change the HP position to ON factory setting is OFF). The stat then works fine.

I replaced a wireless thermostat that gave up with the same wired models that were used in other rooms, just copied the wiring. Everything went smoothly. Nice and small, no batteries required. Couldn't find that at the local big box seller. Easy to program, adjust the room temp. readout and lit or not lit screen.

This thermostat is a great one. Although the instructions that come with the product itself are unclear, I finally got it working properly and love this stat. If you are using a four wire thermostat line you must install the resistor that comes with the thermostat in line at the actual unit not at the thermostat like the instructions say.

After doing a lot of research online, I found that this Thermostat packed just as much punch as the larger and far more expensive units. I receieved exactly what I was expecting and it was very easy to install.

Delivery was very prompt and came even faster than promised. Package was secure and unit was well packaged.

Just changed-out the same model. Works great, keeps temperature constant and has a wonderful blue/green backlight. Make sure your central-air main air filter inlet is new/clean before installing this thermostat--or you may have strange anomalies, such as frequent stop/starts, power failure to the thermostat, etc.

I fully programmed the thermostat within 5 minutes and it has been working flawlessly.

I was sorry to hear that Totaline is thinking of phasing this unit out, because it is a superb device. It is brightly back-lighted, yet requires no batteries. The accessory back-mounting plate is expensive but superbly designed. It was a pleasure to toss out three older units and start enjoying these devices!

We basically only use it for heat in the winter as we have no a/c. It's a good basic, inexpensive and small thermostat. We don't use any of the automatic controls.
