I am a landlord with 6 different office buildings. I have installed this thermostat in all the offices and the renters thanked me for it. It saved them a lot of money when the electric bills came in. The workers were no longer able to mess with the thermostats turning them up and down.

Tested this unit in my home for installation in apartments. This is a sleek simple unit that can operate with just two wires (24v AC). It does require two AAA batteries to operate. If they die or are removed, you lose your heat! The thermostat has a programmable temperature stop which i'm hoping tenants won't research to learn how to reprogram. The unit maintains a memory of the programmed settings if the batteries are removed.
