This filter is the main furnace/AC intake filter. I was looking for something that would effectively reduce the dust and pollen that makes summer a miserable allergy time for me. This was recommended to me by the contractor who installed the furnace and air conditioner. The HVAC unit is high efficiency enough that I can run it much more without blowing the budget, and my allergies have been much less severe though we are in a high pollen/allergen period. Buying replacements thru the contractor would have cost two to three times as much as thru iaqsource. These filters will make the summer much more pleasant . . . and affordable.
