Basic filtration to reduce dust and dirt on HVAC coils and components
Inexpensive alternative to pleated filters
Chipboard frame bonded to premium grade compression-resistant fiberglass media
Double-skinned media design eliminates the need for scrim or metal retainers by building the strength requirements into the fiberglass
Coated with light adhesive to increase dust and dirt holding capacity
Continuous adhesive bond between media pad and chipboard frame to maximize strength and service life
After removal - filter can be safely folded for compact disposal

These are becoming hard to find - yours are exactly what the original furnace/AC mfr recommends. The newer, more dense ones have advantages, but they also put a strain on my OLD furnace/AC motor and reduce the heat/air output. I will definitely be back.

If you change your filters every month, this is the product you should use. Additionally if you use a filter spray, you can catch most of the things that you would catch in the more expensive filters that restrict air flow over the long haul and eventually cause damage to the fan.
