INSTALLATION NOTES: Hole of approximately 11 1/4" X 8 3/4" must be cut in wall on output side to accomodate fan and electrical assembly; hole for suction side is approxiamately 8 7/8" in diameter. I used the Suncourt Thruwall Room to Room fan to move warm air from a high ceiling downstairs living room area to an upstairs bedroom that had a wall in common with the downstairs living area. The fan works effectively to move the warm air from the fireplace in the living room to the upstairs bedroom, although a higher CFM fan would have been nice. Also, I had to add ducting to connect the two parts of the fan, but the extra duct work was easy to pick up at the local hardware.

Delivery was great @ on time, I installed the fan my self it was very easy to do. I cant tell how well it will work until winter because i'm using this to transfer heat from one room to the other.

We have a small network room that heats up. This room to room fan is perfect for cooling the room into a main hallway. Winter time it keeps the hallway warm. There are not many options for cooling network rooms, without sending hundreds of dollars.

We bought this fan to move air from the ceiling area of a small room with a wood stove into a larger room that needed some supplemental heat. It serves the purpose very well. The only problem we had installing it was locating the hole for the suction side. We marked it in accordance with the furnished instructions, but the hole was still about a half inch off. Fortunately the suction side grille covered it, but we had to improvise an anchorage for the screws.

We have a fireplace in the living room that really puts out the heat, but only in that room. We installed the fan from the living room to the hallway which has the bedrooms & bath doorways. Living room is more comfortable and other rooms are warmer.
