Comments about LuxPro PSP300 Line Voltage Programmable (5+2 day) 1 Heat or 1 Cool Outlet Thermostat:
Simple to setup and use, this is a great programmable (plug in) thermostat. Controls are versatile, with options for different temperature settings for different periods of the day and settings for the week and weekend. I use it in my garage to control an electric space heater. Works great.

Comments about LuxPro PSP300 Line Voltage Programmable (5+2 day) 1 Heat or 1 Cool Outlet Thermostat:
I tried several other thermastats and decided I need a pug in device like this. It does exctly what it needs to. Get this if you are looking for similar device. I tried to rig a few but this ended being the best option. Worth the price. Used for a an air conditioner that I wanted to shut down when cool was not going. Otherwise the built in themastat for the AC kept the fan going when the cooling shut off.

Comments about LuxPro PSP300 Line Voltage Programmable (5+2 day) 1 Heat or 1 Cool Outlet Thermostat:
Most hardwire thermostats for fan control for passive solar applications are grossly inaccurate, bimetal "attic" thermostats and most precision thermostats are for 24 or mini-volt systems. The AC function of this product allows pin-point temperature control of a 110 volt circulating fan in a passive solar collector.
Judging by the marketing description for this product I don't think the manufacturer or the retailer realize the solar application potential for this product.
