I ordered it. I liked what I saw out of the box. I installed it to control a window AC unit. It had a 10 degree range before it would function. I set it at 70. It took until 78 before it kicked the AC on. Then it would take until 62 to kick the AC off. After a few days of the temps running around like that, I pulled it out and now it sits on my work bench. I will either toss it or look into why it is so bad at measuring temp, which is the primary function of this device. I just don't have the time to look into it and the little money I paid keeps me from tossing it.

Used this thermostat on a central ventilating/evaporation cooling system, for which it works quite well. The installation instructions were clear, however in using a plastic old work electrical box of the stated required size the thermostat wouldn't fit. The ground screw was so near the edge of the thermostat that it wouldn't fit into the box. Modification of the box (cutting away some plastic) allowed it to go in. Other than that the instructions were easy to follow and the thermostat works very well for my system.
