This was the exact product needed to make my humidifier more efficient. I didn't feel the old one was allowing enough water to flow, which caused the heat and air to feel dry. Replaced it with this and noticed a huge difference!! Furnace only comes on once or twice a night, with moist air being easier to heat. Kids are bummed, no more static shocks though ;-)
