This seems to be a little difficult to install because the original filter is metal and pushes into place but this one is flimsy (only because it is cardboard framed) and bends when you try to install it in to the proper place. After much maneuvering it did go in. It provides much more filtration than the metal/mesh filter that is the standard Carrier filter. It makes a noticeable difference in the amount of dust in my home.

This is a great filter, however when I received the product it wasn't the size I ordered. I ordered a 21 1/2 x 23 1/2 x 1. My confirmation even listed this size on my invoice. However, when I received the filters, they were not this size. They were 22 x 24 x 1. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but that half inch doesn't allow me to close the little door that goes over the filter entry meaning my AC is now sucking in hot air from my garage. Pleased with the filter. Displeased with receiving the size I didn't order.

I was so pleased to find a disposable filter to replace the washable filters that came with this unit! It is SO much easier to just replace a filter rather than trying to clean the others!
