This product has regulated the temperature in my home to a round-the-clock 68... No longer is the house off temp.. this is great savings because I will no longer have to adjust the temp over and over to keep the main floor at a comfortable temp.. This will lead to savings... I'm very pleased with the results... I even had it installed privetly with no worries at all... this is a Money Saver for any home!!!!

I wish the expensive wall plates weren't necessary. The extra cost for two pieces of plastic, when you truly only need one, just isn't right. Honeywell could easily have designed this product to completely cover the wall marks created by their ubiquitious round thermostats. Otherwise, this product is great!

Only 20 minutes to install. Arrives pre-programmed requiring the owner to only make small changes to the factory program, rather than creating the program temps and times from zero. Clear installation and use instructions, although there was one discrepancy between the Installer and Homeowner instruction sets (thermostat arrives set in Manual Changeover mode). You will likely need the optional medium size baseplate if replacing an old Honeywell round thermostat.

I replaced a non-programmable with this unit in a one zone application. Saves me the trouble of getting out of a warm bed in the morning, coming downstairs to reset the non programmable to the desired daytime temperature, run back upstairs, jump back into bed and wait until the house warms up before getting up for the day.

I purchased this thermostat because a guest in my house frequently changed the set point on my old thermostat, squandering heat in the winter and over-cooling in the summer. I installed this thermostat and set reasonable limits for heating and cooling. It solved my problem. The only negative was that the guest, trying to figure it out, pushed the System button (bottom right button) and shut down the system. Some verbal instructions solved that problem, but I think it is too easy to accidently shut down the HVAC with adverse results.

Excellent Product. I have a 5 zone system and this is the 3rd FP 6000 I have installed. The other 2 are older CT3600. My only complaint is, I have an older zone control system that requires seperate B and O terminals so I could only use the FP 6000 to replace the slave stats.
