Comments aboutHoneywell FocusPRO 5000 Non-Programmable MultiStage Thermostat, Large Screen:
Had older Honeywell units that didn't allow us to set limits on how cold for A/C and how warm for heat (for our large rental house). The 5000 Series allows this, with straight forward setup procedures. Easy as could be to install and they work flawlessly, keeping highly accurate temps thru wild weather swings. Super happy with these units. Need just the 5110 for gas or propane furnace, but the 5220 or higher for heat pumps.
Comments aboutHoneywell FocusPRO 5000 Non-Programmable MultiStage Thermostat, Large Screen:
It needed a few more instructions for my six wire feed. I finally added a jumper to the emergency heat relay and auxiliary heat relay and now it works fine.

Comments aboutHoneywell FocusPRO 5000 Non-Programmable MultiStage Thermostat, Large Screen:
This thermostat is not programmable and that's good. No one's life is so precisely scheduled that you can program every hour, week-ends verses week-days, holidays, etc. You simply set your minimum comfort heat temperature and maximum comfort cool temperature and the unit automatically switches from heat to cool during the seasonal changes. And I design computer systems.
