Comments about Fantech RC4 Aluminum Roof Cap for 4" Duct: I bought two for two bathroom fan vents. The design is rather high profile but this allows a better air flow. However, the construction is inconsistent. One cap's screen was poorly attached so I had to trim the bottom off to make it fit to keep wasps and small critters out. I had to bend the other cap to make the screen fit better. The light weight damper rattles in the wind and actually lifts up, allowing air to go down to the bathroom fan. The bath fan's damper is not a tight seal so outside air comes into the room. I can hear the rattling damper on windy days.
