Fantech Premium Grille - Includes 6" ceiling grille, grille housing with damper, hanger bars. Does not include fan. Uses 4" Duct.

Includes 5-year manufacturers warranty!

INSTALLATION TIPS

Locate vent as close as possible bath fixtures (toilet, showers, and hot tubs

Fantech recommends the use of insulated flexible duct for the exhaust system
Place at least 8 feet of duct between intake grill and fan (insulated flexible duct allows sound from the fan to dissapate gradually so that it can not be heard in the bathroom)

Grille Housing: 6"L X 6"W X 5 1/2"H. Fits between 2x6 construction.

Should expand it's uses by introducing a pass-thru model ...... by attaching a second intake on the opposite side ........ I bought 2 remote units and combined the exhaust side of one to create a "double intake" and was able to place both inside the same rafter bay ....... the idea worked beautifully ..... THANKS to your support staff ........

Installed in skylight tower over shower where humidity buildup was causing mold. Inline fan exhausted to exterior wall. Five days of use and appears to have solved problem.

I installed this grill housing with a 4" inline fan in each of our bathrooms to ventilate humid air from showering to the outside of the house. The housing/in line combination is much quieter and less obtrusive than most all in one ceiling vent fan units.

The damper seems a little stiff and doesn't quite close all the way. I'll have to check it periodically to see if it gets and better with some use.
