The vent installs easily, flows well, is small and unobtrusive, and is quiet.
The vent must be completely vertical and the hinge pin must be unobstructed or the backflow valve may not close properly. That's the only thing I don't like about it so far. It took me a couple of tries to get the insulated duct attached to it without causing the backflow valve to hang open.

Easy to install and nice but efficient . you can barely see it on the ceiling . The only cons is that the backdraft does not close all the time...

Compared to normal bathroom exhaust fans, this thing is tiny, yet still has 4" diameter for efficient exhaust. My wife was concerned about having it over toilet, in case it fell. Then she saw it and realized that what we have in other bathrooms is HUGE, while this is diminutive - and works better.

The things I liked most about the DGD4 exhaust grill's was the way they sealed to the ceiling and the back draft dampener operation and sealing. With today's energy bills the better we can insulate and prevent heat leaks and drafts the better.
The DGD4 not only has a good seal at the ceiling but also the dampeners operate smoothly and also have a good seal when closed.
