Rust resistant galvanized wire downstream gives the filter rigidity and holds media in place after installation
Built-in support fingers hold pleats in place and allow for maximum dust holding

The package arrived somewhat damaged, and one of the two filters was a little misshapen. I managed to straighten out the crimps in the paper frame and got the filter fit into the air handler. But this filter is definitely not as "robust" as the OEM version. But it works, and it is about half the price.
