MERV 13 Filtering Media for Aprilaire / Space-Gard 2400

This new filter media is built to fit the popular model 2400air cleaner from Aprilaire / Space-Gard.  This filter fills the gap between the MERV 10 rated OEM filter and expensive higher efficiency filters on the market.  Replacement for Aprilaire part number 401. Note - this product is not manufactured by Aprilaire.

FEATURES:
- MERV 13 Efficiency - MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) is the industry standard for determining filter efficiency.  The higher the MERV value - the more efficient the filter is at removing particles
- Patented Gradient Media Technology - This technology results in long service life and low resistance to airflow.  The synthetic fibers are electrostatically charged to enable the fibers to attract and capture even very small particles
- Durable, tear resistant filter media - The media used in this filter is extremely durable and resists tearing during the installation process, allowing it to be installed in the frame assembly without tearing or puncturing
- String pleat connector - like the OEM filters from Aprilaire - these filters are held together with a string connector instead of a glue bead which can rip if stressed
- Also fits Lennox Models PMAC-12C and Healthy Climate 16 Air cleaners

The filters ship like a collapsed accordian and are expanded into a plastic frame within the air cleaner cabinet. The filter is snapped into the plastic frame and held in place with existing pleat spacers. Assembly instructions are printed on the product carton.
