The filter appears to be workiong properly. The only problem was that they were difficult to install since they were very stiff. I had to wet the filter so it would be more pliable and able to fit in the humidifier filter frame.

The old water panel was corroded and blocking air flow, causing the fan to labor. Once replaced, the fan noise is gone. Water panel was perfect fit. I ordered a second one for an easy future replacement. Price was high, but then again, I paid for convenience [...]. The box could be better marked with part number etc, but now I am just being really picky. Great experience overall.
