High quality carbon filter. Large 16.5" X 48" cut-to-fit activated carbon sheet. Fits most portable air cleaners. Simply place the old pre-filter on top of new sheet and cut to match the size. If the old prefilter is missing, cut to match the circumference of existing air filter. For box shape filters, cut to match front of existing air filter. Fits most HEPA air cleaners. The HEPA filters that have a charcoal prefilter cost $79.95 while a standard particle filter cost $49.95. Do the math, you are paying $30 more for a sheet of charcoal on the filter.I bought two of these sheets and was able to make six prefilters that fit in the frame of the standard HEPA filter..[...]the two sheets cost me about $40, a little bit more than the extra cost of just one charcoal Blueair filter.I found that these sheets were a tiny bit thicker than the one I pulled out of the factory Blueair one but they fit fine.Don't overpay elsewhere, get a pair of scissors and save some money!
