Comments about Replacement Drum and Media Assembly for Skuttle Model 190 Humidifier (A16-1722-020): Since the filter is folded flat, it renders the whole assembly slightly asymmetrical. In my case (due to a partial motor shaft failure) the rotor sometimes gets stuck because of that asymmetry. And when the filter is dry, the hot air flow can melt the drum plastic (that is also possible when water supply is cut). "I'm not so rich to buy cheap stuff" - I should have remember this phrase when I bought a cheap humidifier. Since then I had to buy 2 rotors, ~$40 each... On the next failure I will consider buying a better (hence more expensive) humidifier, ideally without moving parts. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful?
