Expanded Cartridge Filter for Aprilaire/Space-Gard 2400- MERV 11 (2-Pack).
Looking for a highly efficient box filter for your Aprilaire/Space-Gard air cleaner? These filters offer superior filtration - and no messy assembly is required! Designed not only to reduce dust, but has the ability to capture most common allergens. This is achieved by combining 100% synthetic electrostatically charged media, optimum pleat spacing and high quality construction. These deep-pleated filters have exceptionally high initial and sustained efficiency, high dust holding capacity, and very low pressure drop. The media is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, does not absorb moisture and will not support microbial growth.
These pleated filters are made to be installed in the Aprilaire/Space-Gard 2400 Air Cleaner. They are fully expanded - and no assembly or pleat spacers are required. Simply place the filter in the plastic inner housing and slide it in!

Filter Media Particulate: 100% synthetic gradient media, electrostatically charged
Filter Support Grid: 30 gauge galvanized expanded metal grid
Frame: Moisture resistant 28 point beverage board
Filters are fully expanded when shipped - no assembly required!!
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: 1). Place filter into existing plastic frame (not included) - matching airflow arrows on filter and frame
2). Snap plastic frame together around filter
3). Slide entire assembly into air cleaner cabinet and replace door

Installed easily, only took a couple minutes. The filter media does not seem to be the same quality as OEM. I will see what my service guy says at the next maintenance visit.

Substandard quality on the product. I have doubts about the validity of the MERV rating, it looks like they check off whatever they have sold it as (MERV-8, 11, or 13).
Excellent company to do business with though.

I choose to order the product already fully assembled rather than putting together all the partitions myself and the product was delivered in a short time. After reading some basic instructions I was able to replace the old accordian filter with the fully assembled one in a short time without any problems. It seems to be a good fit and performing well.
