This is a great addition in front of my dryer booster fan. The cover is awkward to remove for cleaning, but overall it is an easy install and a great benefit to the overall system.

Dryer vents in to garage, used as second screen. Added two L brackets to fasten to wall. Fine mesh screen works great to keep lint out of garage. Cover is not easily removed but clear window is good but plastic seems like it may not last long, will see.

The dryer vent arrived very quickly. It was very easy to install. It works great and really catches alot of lint the dryer does not. I would definately reccomend this dryer vent.

This was a great product for my needs. I unfortunately, have an area that was not plumb for a dryer and my dryer doesn't have it's own lint trap. I spent a lot of money trying to figure out this problem and then I found this thing. It works great! I do have some difficulty removing the screen to clean the lint out, but it's better than the water system I was using. That thing didn't work at all. I did have trouble installing it, but not the lint traps fault. My area is a very small room with no where to put the trap really. I would say it works really well, but is not very attractive at all. I would definately buy it again. Wish I would have found it first before all the other junk I bought. Thanks!

Catches lint very effectively. I am using it in conjunction with a laundry booster fan. It is very easy to clean and has a clear window so you can see when it needs to be cleaned. I thought it could look more finished as it is just a metal finish.

Lint trap works well. Access door removal is a little awkward. Will not win any beauty awards, but works well and would highly recommend to help keep duct runs clean from lint. I installed the Fantech DBF4XL Dryer Booster fan and glad I also installed the FanTech lint trap. Dryer works great now and duct run stays clean

I needed something that would help trap the small amount of lint that gets past the dryer lint trap. I vent my dryer thru my garage roof, and I wanted double protection that the lint would not clog up the end of the vent which is very hard to get to (since it is on the garage roof). This works perfectly. The only thing that would make it somewhat easier, is if the front panel was easier to open. Maybe with an actual door on small hinges, it could then swing open. The way it is designed now, you have to carefully pull the front panel off, and then it is a bit of a hassle to get the panel back in place. Not a huge issue, but just a suggestion!
