Comments about Aprilaire Tune-Up Kit for Model 224 Humidifier: Easy replacement filter/parts. Took about an hour. I'd called a local furnace pro (Comfort Heating & Air) since the humidifier didn't seem to be working. They told me the solenoid was bad and it would be better to replace the whole system instead of repairing it. Turns out the copper tubes were merely clogged; a quick 'tune-up' for under $60 and everything works again. Replacement filters and hose connections were easy to install.
