I took out all the old parts; cleaned the humidifier completely; installed all the new parts; reinstalled the humidifier; turned on the water...only to find that I had a water leak at the drain spout. This could have been avoided by placing plumbers putty or RTV around the spout PRIOR to assembly. Was this review helpful?
