It works like it is supposed to. It takes some doing to install it. Can't believe something this small could cost this much!! Come on folks, it ain't made of gold!!

I would recommend this to a friend with the caveat about the price.

For such a small part it was way to expensive. I was between a rock and a hard place. Pay way too much for a 30 cent piece or trash the whole unit. No good choice. [...]

I know the previous reviewer said it didn't work and my plumber at first couldn't get it to move the water up but then figured out that the impeller had to be very installed very snug, then it did work.

[...] There were no installation instructions other than a one-liner indicating the black side should face the motor. After installation the water still did not travel the length of the tube to the evaporation pad so the humidifier still does not function.
