The factory original UKF8001 filter is used in refrigerators by Maytag, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Amana, Jenn-Air, Viking and others. The UKF8001 filter creates better tasting water for drinking and making beverages as well as clean, clearer, healthy ice. This filter is branded as "PUR" and replaces the PuriClean II UKF8001AXX filter.

It's super easy to install (just a few seconds to actually pop it in and a few minutes to run the water and remove any air in the system). Ahhhhhh... now our refrigerator's water tastes clean and refreshing. A dozen office workers use the filtered water daily and there have been zero complaints. I was amazed at how quickly it came and how easy it was to install and reset my filter button from replace to in the green.
