Conrol zone valve in hot water base board heating system. Works great. We knew it was more thermostat than we needed. We miss the operating light which could be seen at a distance with the former thermstat.

Great T stat. Needs one improvement: the hold function on the programmable is easily confused. It should take pushing two buttons, say for two seconds or something so it's an intentional activity. The same button on the non programmable functions as a light, which is nice. The programmable has no separate light function so if you want the light to come on you have to push any button which changes the settings. That part is kind of annoying because sometimes you just want to look at the settings, which is what the light is for, without changing them. Otherwise, great product.

[...] Installation was straight forward. Always remember to label what the old wires were hooked up to and not the wire color. Installed this t-stat one evening after work, no problems so far.

Excellent, and this company was very helpful in every way. They are great. The only problem I had was the wiring diagram didn't apply to me and
I needed help getting it wired although it was ultimately very simple (I guess too simple). It
may have too many features for some people,
but the defaults are logical and pretty much what you want. For heat only, wire red to "RH" and White to "W", and remove jumper between RH/RC

The product was easy to install except for attaching the wires to the thermonstate. Other then this, it has been working for the last two weeks perfectly and I have no other complaints. It was fairly easy to program, just had to glance at the directions momentarily. I did purchase another thermonstate and found the connections were not the same. I was able to return the product and purchase and new and it all went smoothly.

It is easy to install and the directions are very clear. The only problem you might have is the cryptic letters in the settings, but once you read the directions it all makes perfect sense and it is VERY simple.The operation is very easy once you set up the 5+1+1 or 5+2 days.I chose this model over the touch screen model because it is not worth another $70 for just a touch screen that does the EXACT same thing. Actually, this model is better than the touch screen as you have 3 gradients for heat cycles where the touch screen only has 2.

It didn't take any time to program or install, after reading the easy to understand instruction sheet that came with the product. Can't wait to see how much lower my electric bill will be! Highly recommend to everyone with the old style controls. Save money by programming one and not cooling or heating when your at work.
