My mom is legally blind and lives alone. I live 5 minutes from her but would have to come daily to fix the temperature on the thermostat for her. She was constantly either too cold or too hot. Now she has control!! The numbers are large enough for her to see and she listens for the click each time she turns it up or down. Highly recommend this product!

This thermostat was easy to install and worked right out of the box. We had no problems with defective units as reported by another reviewer. The click stops and large tactile numbers make it easy to adjust for those with visual problems. A Braille manual is available upon request. Honeywell is to be congratulated for their dedication to making a product that is accessible to blind and low vision users.

Looked ok, but was very clumsy. Face plate easily came off. Purchased multiple units that ended up not working right out of the box, even with professional installation. The gimmick got me but the product sucks. Returned 5 out of 6!
