The H46C 1166 Humidity Controller is used with portable and central unit dehumidifiers, or for mildew control with air conditioning systems. I used it to control an a/c system that is only used during specific times of hte year, and because of humidity and mold issues, i installed it so that the room stays at a certain humidity level.

The bathroom was recently renovated. When our son showers it's long and hot and he never remembers to turn on the exhaust. Now it goes on automatically and the paint won't be peeling and bubbling again.
