I live in Phoenix AZ and all of my ice is through this filter and I use a ton of ice. It is comforting to have clean filtered water for my ice and drinking water that actually tastes good. It is very convenient and used daily right in the door to my refrigerator.

I really don't like having to change the filter every six months but if you weigh the pros and cons it is really a very limited drawback, especially since I found a place to order them online.

This water filter is great. [...]is easy to install. The water tastes great and pours into your glass quickly. The only complaint I have is the price. It is expensive and lasts less than 6 months. It tells you it is good for 6 months but we use a lot of water so it lasts about 5 months for us and it gets quite expensive to purchase two times a year.
