Universal Float Assembly for Lobb / AutoFlo Humidifiers. Fits AutoFlo Models 200P, 200G, 800BP, 40, 450, 400BP, 97. Fits Lobb Models WA-1700, WA-2700, WA-1, WA-2, AD-1 TIPS ON INSTALLATION: The float assembly has be redesigned for your unit. With the pan in place, open the saddle valve allowing water to begin flowing. To adjust the water level, loosen (DO NOT REMOVE) the thumb screw and move the float arm UP to increase the level or DOWN to lower the water level. Tighten the thumb screw after adjusting. The water level should be adjusted to make sure the botom of the media is in the water.

The house I recently purchased had an AutoFlow 2000 whole house humidifier installed that had not been used for years by the looks of it when I first inspected the furnance. The pan was caked with scale a quarter inch thick and the original float was an unusable mess. I ordered a new float and filters from iaqsource.com [...]The float(& filter)installed in less than 30 minutes and my home now has humidified heated air as oppossed to the dry air we had before. When I need new parts or filters for the humidifier I'll come back to iaqsource.com

Installed in 5 minutes with a small adjustable wrench, fit perfectly with no adjustment needed, and work better than the old one. The valve and float kit was expensive but worth every penny. My whole house humidifier was leaking water because the old float did not stop the flow of water completely when it is up. So far after 3 weeks, no leaking of water. Iaqsource.com has the best pricing.

This product worked fine for my 800BP: fewer parts and simpler design for the float adjustment compared with the OEM part. It was easy to install and adjust. I did find an exact replacement float on another internet site, but it was more expensive and after a lot of lost time messing around with the tricky adjustment on my original (before it finally stopped sealing properly despite all possible adjustments), I chose this one based on the review on this item claiming a simpler design. Good news: it works fine.

The unit installed easily and works well. It's entirely made of plastic and won't corrode. However, the bottom edge of the drip cup allowed water to drip outside of the water tray at very low flow rates. I fixed the problem by gluing a bit of plastic on the bottom of the drip cup to extend its lip about 1/8".

My float valve wore out resulting in the valve continully running water. Swapped out and installed the new float valve assembly in less than 10 minutes. It was easy to install and adjust. No more worries...hopefully!

This is the heart of the unit. Must be cleaned each year before use. I recomend you clean it right after the season completely before shutting down unit for the summer. I take the complete unit apart, clean unit, take pad off the wheel and clean pad. Clean this unit completely and it will last 5 maybe more seasons. This is the second unit instaled.
