Works well, easily to read and program. Some rooms are either hot or cold. But generally comfortable. Replacing one that is only 3 years old. Thought it would last longer. Very easy to replace with new one. Snap off the snap on. Done

Great product, bright display (hardwire not battery powered), easy to install and configure. Lots of options. My only complaint is that the wallplate bracket does not securely hold the thermostat to the wall. A slight bump will knock the thermostat off the wall. My old thermostat staged my heat pump emergency heat, this one can not do that - only feature it is missing. Good overall choice.

This is very good thermostat. I highly recommend. I tried some others and this one really was easy to install and performed as expected. I agree with other comments on the backlight could have been brighter but it is not anything I would use as an inhibitor to purchase. As a reminder and all my fault for not paying attention, be sure not to let any of the wires from the cooling system touch one another. Luckily, I only blew a $5 fuse. I say this only for the "weekend DIYers" like me and do not mean anything was deficient with the thermostat. I am going to buy another for my upstairs system.

Once you get through the initial programing, this one is real easy to use. The programs provide a lot of options for saving $. I will be replacing the rest of my thermostats with this model. Might be a little hard for some one looking for easy.

This thermostat is easy to read and program, but after many calls to the White Rogers "technical support line," I finally insisted the unit was defective. Pro Thermostats graciously sent me a new unit quickly. The thermostat now retains the "led on" feature, but when it is selected to "auto", it does not show when the emergency heat kicks in.

I've owned several brands of programmable thermostats, and this is the best one yet. Automatic switch-over from heat to cool is great, and the programming functions are extremely intuitive. I love the blue backlit display. I have found no thermostat to rival this one.
